 Our Story

Welcome to Fresh Haven, where we turn property care into a community celebration! I’m thrilled to share a slice of my life and how Fresh Haven came to be the heart of Cowichan Lake.

Meet Ryan Allen, born and raised in the lush, liberating surroundings of Lake Cowichan as the youngest of four siblings, my childhood was a picturesque scene of endless play in our woods and swims in the lake and river. This idyllic setting fostered not just a love for nature but a deep-seated sense of responsibility towards it.

Transitioning from such a blissful childhood into adulthood, I ventured into property maintenance and renovations, where my days were filled with client care and hands-on service. My passion for preserving the beauty of our surroundings only grew stronger as I became a family man, raising my own children in this wonderful community. It fills me with immense pride to see them thrive in the same spaces that shaped my own childhood.

In 2022, I founded Fresh Haven out of a genuine need to assist our neighbors in maintaining their properties amidst our unique environmental challenges. Our mission was simple: to provide top-notch exterior cleaning services that respect and protect our natural heritage.

Since our inception, Fresh Haven has been embraced warmly by the community, growing year after year and establishing ourselves as the leading exterior cleaning company around Cowichan Lake. Our success is deeply rooted in the local support and the relationships we’ve built along the way.

I often say, “Success is getting to do what you love, with who you love, where you love!” This sentiment is at the core of Fresh Haven. Every day, I am grateful for the life I lead, the work I do, and the people I share it with.
